was rather a lovely afternoon. My first stop was the Shelter shop.
Stockbridge in Edinburgh has rather a good collection of second-hand
shops. I returned laden with bargains including a winter coat and a
warm jacket. I love second-hand shops.
Now it's coming to the sad time when I'll have to pack up and head
home again. Hope you've had as nice a weekend as I have.
I began to shop in charity shops when my children were little and I could buy an almost new babygrow for 20p... and the habit's continued. Only there are very few charity shops in Spain, and none near to us :-(
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever been into a charity shop, silly really as everyone says that they are great places to shop. I am surprised that the girls don't go looking for designer stuff, though the eldest was talking about it the other day.
